About Our Kits
What age are Wunderkits designed for?
Our kits are made for ages 6+, with activity lengths and instructions designed to match skill level, interest and attention span. Adult supervision is required for younger kids and recommended for older kids.
What's included in each kit?
Each Wunderkit includes everything needed to complete the project: all ingredients, molds, tools, and step-by-step illustrated instructions. Soap kits require a microwave or double boiler to melt soap. Bath kits require a large bowl for mixing.

Other than that, space to create, a surface to work on, paper towels and water for cleanup, plus enthusiasm & patience are a must!
How long does each project take?
Most projects take 30-60 minutes from start to finish, depending on the kit and your child's pace. We design activity lengths to match kids' attention spans while giving them enough time to really enjoy the creative process.
Do I need any additional supplies?
Each kit includes almost everything you need - soap kits need a microwave or double boiler and bath kits need a large bowl. We recommend having a workspace covered with newspaper or a craft mat, and access to water and paper towels for mixing and cleanup.
Are your kits reusable or one-time use?
Depends on the kit. Soap kits offer three creative sessions that can be done at once or spread over time. Bath kits are completed in one sitting, but meant to be used multiple times in the bath. Both are great for completing with a friend or sibling.
Once they've created their custom bath bombs, soaps, or other goodies, they're ready to use and enjoy! The molds and tools can often be reused for future DIY projects if you purchase additional ingredients separately.
The experience and skills gained? Those last forever.
Can older kids and adults use these kits too?
Absolutely! While designed for kids as young as 6, many older kids and adults love our kits, because the designs are not childish, they're real works of art that all ages can appreciate.
Are your kits good for parties or group activities?
Our kits make great activities for 1-3 kids. For larger groups, contact us at hello@wunderkits.com for party packages.
How do I choose the right kit?
All of our kits are beginner-friendly and designed for ages 6+ with adult supervision - no crafting experience needed!
The best way to choose is based on interest: does the recipient love bath time (or have a bathtub)? Go with bath bombs. Not sure? Try soap-making.
You can't go wrong - our kit testers loved them all, regardless of age, gender, or kit type.
Safety & Ingredients
Are your kits safe and non-toxic?
We thoughtfully choose ingredients to avoid harsh chemicals commonly found in commercial products, including preservatives, dyes, SLS, detergents, parabens, phthalates, and more. As with any kid-oriented product, we recommend adult supervision and reviewing the full ingredient list, particularly if your child has specific sensitivities or allergies.
What ingredients do you use?
We use simple ingredients like baking soda, citric acid, phthalate-free fragrances, ethically sourced mica, and detergent free melt & pour soap base. Each kit includes a complete ingredient list on the product page, external packaging and inside the instructions manual.
Do your kits contain allergens?
While we try to avoid the most common allergens, like nut oils and dairy, it is impossible to accommodate every allergen for every body. We recommend reviewing the ingredient list on each product page before purchasing, especially if your child has known allergies or sensitivities. Are the ingredients vegan/cruelty-free?
We carefully choose vegan ingredients and only source from vendors that are known to adhere to cruelty free and ethical practices. Check individual product pages for specific details.
What should I do if my child has sensitive skin?
We recommend doing a small patch test before full use, especially for kids with sensitive skin. Apply a small amount of the finished product to the inside of the wrist and wait 24 hours. If any irritation occurs, discontinue use. When in doubt, consult with your pediatrician.
How should I store unused materials?
Store unused ingredients in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep materials in their original packaging or airtight containers. Most ingredients have a shelf life of 12-18 months when stored properly.
What's the shelf life of the finished products?
Bath bombs and soaps made from our kits are best used within 3-6 months for optimal freshness and fragrance. Store finished products in a dry place away from moisture to extend their life.
We recommend storying bath products in the reusable zip bag or gift bag provided. Soaps should stored the same or wrapped in plastic wrap to avoid glycerin "dew."
Orders & Shipping
Do you offer free shipping?
For a limited time, enjoy free shipping on continental US orders over $90. Orders under $90 ship for a flat rate of $6.95.
How long does shipping take?
Orders typically ship within 1-2 business days. Transit time is estimated at checkout. You'll receive a tracking number via email once your order ships.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we only ship within the continental United States. We're working on expanding, stay tuned!
Can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow your kit's journey to your door.
What if my order arrives damaged or incomplete?
Please contact us at hello@wunderkits.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the damage or a note of what was missing. We will send the missing item asap at no cost to you. For damages occurred during transit, we will send you a replacement right away, but do need photos so we can submit an insurance claim with the carrier.

Are instructions included in each kit?
Yes, every kit comes with clear, step-by-step instructions designed for kids to follow along. The WunderSquad guides them along an adventure that inspires them to be creative and use their imagination.
Do you have video tutorials?
Yes, we have video tutorials for all of our kits to provide extra guidance and inspiration. Check out our Video Tutorials page to see the magic happen.
What if I make a mistake during the project?
Mistakes are part of the creative process and most projects are forgiving and can be adjusted as you go. If you need help troubleshooting, check our video tutorials or reach out to us at hello@wunderkits.com.

How do I clean up after the project?
Cleanup is easy! Most ingredients wash away with warm water and soap. We recommend working on a protected surface (like our provided coloring mess mat!) and having a damp cloth handy for quick wipes.
Gifting & Parties
Are these good for birthday parties or group activities?
Absolutely, Wunderkits make fantastic party activities. Kids love the hands-on creativity and each child gets to take home their custom creation. Contact us at hello@wunderkits.com for bulk orders or party planning tips!
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Not at this time, but our kits come beautifully packaged and ready to gift! You can also add a personal touch with your own wrapping.
Can I include a gift message?
Yes, during checkout, you can add a gift message in the order notes and we'll include it with your shipment.

Returns & Refunds
What's your return policy?
You can return unopened kits within 30 days of delivery for a refund, exchange or store credit. Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on opened kits unless they arrived damaged or defective. For more information about returns, visit our Returns & Refunds page.
What if my child doesn't like the kit?
If your unopened kit isn't the right fit, you can return it within 30 days for a refund, exchange or store credit. If the kit has been opened and there's an issue with the product itself, reach out to us at hello@wunderkits.com.
Do you offer refunds or exchanges?
Unopened kits can be returned within 30 days for an exchange, store credit or refund. If there's an issue with your kit (damaged, defective, or missing parts), we'll make it right.
How long do I have to return an item?
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for unopened kits. Reach out to us at hello@wunderkits.com with your order number to get started or visit our Returns & Refunds page for more information.
